Nestled in a rural valley with some native crops, this 18th-century farmhouse has remained linked to the same family, the descendants of the Nava and Grimón. Before the current remodeling it was inhabited four generations ago.

José Tabares Bartlett lived here. He was one of the best poets of 19th-century realism in Canarian poetry and former mayor of La Laguna.

He describes in his texts the Canarian landscapes, its hills and traditions. In the Caserío you can find places where he sat looking for inspiration while observing the landscape of the place.

Casa del Lagar

The winery was a room where the grapes were once trodden. Now it has been converted into a spectacular living room-kitchen with flat screen TV and fully equipped. El Lagar has stone walls where you will enjoy a pleasant and original stay. Inside, the stone of the press is still preserved, where the kitchen is currently located.

The “Palmera” room is named after the picture hanging on the wall.
The “Cactus” room, located near a lush garden with several native and exotic species, is characterized by the maintenance of its old stone wall, very typical of the old Canarian houses of the time.

It is a room decorated with exquisite taste, mixing the Canarian essence with details and modern pieces of furniture.

It has views of the lower garden, the vineyards and has a large bathroom with shower.

Its name is due to the large almond tree that accompanies it outside and gives beauty to the entrance every time it blooms in winter-spring.
