José Tabares Bartlett lived here, one of the best poets of the eighth century realism of Canarian poetry and former mayor of La Laguna.
In his texts he describes the Canarian landscapes, their hills and traditions. In the Caserío you can find enclaves where he sat down to look for inspiration observing the landscape of the place.

The winery was a room where grapes were trodden in the past. Now it has been converted into a spectacular living room-kitchen with a flat screen TV and fully equipped. El Lagar has stone walls and two rooms where you will enjoy a pleasant and original stay. Inside, the stone from the press is still preserved, where the kitchen is currently located.
